By using ChargerFinder.ca you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The information on this site

Station details come from public sources and from charging networks, and live availability is a recent reading, not a guarantee. Chargers break, prices change and stations close. Information is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and you rely on it at your own risk. Always leave yourself a margin: do not plan a trip that depends on a single charger being available.

Do not use the site while driving. Pull over, or ask a passenger.

ChargerFinder is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any charging network, automaker or government agency. Network names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify their stations.

What you contribute

You can tell us whether a charger worked, leave a short comment and, where the site offers it, add a photo of a station. Contributions are anonymous and are reviewed by a person before they appear. We may decline, edit for length, or remove any contribution at our discretion, and we are not obliged to publish anything.

You keep ownership of what you contribute. By submitting it, you give ChargerFinder a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, ongoing licence to publish, display, reproduce, translate and adapt it (for example cropping or resizing a photo) on the site and in material that promotes the site. You confirm that the contribution is your own work, or that you have the right to share it.

Please keep contributions about the charger and the visit. Do not submit: personal information about yourself or anyone else; photos in which people or licence plates can be identified; anything unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit; advertising, links or promotion; or content copied from somewhere else without permission.

Comments reflect the experience and opinion of the person who wrote them, not of ChargerFinder.

Reporting a problem

If something on the site is wrong, infringes your rights, or shows you or your property and you want it removed, email contact@chargerfinder.ca with the page address and what the problem is. We review every request and act on valid ones promptly. To have your own comment or photo removed, tell us the station and roughly when you posted it.

Fair use of the site

Do not try to disrupt the site, get around its spam protections, or submit contributions by automated means. Ordinary browsing, linking to our pages and quoting our figures with credit are all welcome.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ChargerFinder is not liable for losses that result from using the site or relying on its information, including a charger that is unavailable, out of service, or different from its description.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The current version is always on this page, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. How we handle personal information is covered by the privacy policy.
