Tesla Destination Charger in Tobermory is very convenient if you are staying in the area and need to charge up your Tesla, especially since the closest Supercharger is in Owen Sound. There are 2 chargers available — one regular level one charger and one Level 2 charger with up to 48A charging, which is very useful for getting a faster top up while exploring Tobermory or Bruce Peninsula. It’s free to use. Another good charging option nearby is the Tobermory Community Centre, where you can also charge if you have a J1772 or CCS adapter. Very helpful charging infrastructure for EV travelers and campers visiting the area.

Free level 2 charging. 1 port for J1772 connector and 2 Tesla ports. • It’s available 24 hours a day, offering flexibility for morning or late-evening arrivals.  • Located in a scenic area of the northern Bruce Peninsula, making it a convenient stop if you’re visiting Fathom Five National Marine Park or taking the ferry to Manitoulin Island — the location adds to a positive travel experience.

Very convenient FREE (donations accepted) charging station just a block from the Little Tub Harbor waterfront. Thank you to the owners for the top up before we head back. Photo (you can see the Tesla in the distance) was taken from our balcony at the Princess Hotel… that’s how close the charger was! Note: as of June 28th 2023 only one of the two Tesla Chargers was working.

So thankful for this Tesla charging station! Its 40V so good time on charging my 2021 Model 3! It’s completely free, but leaving some gratitudes in the donation box would be a nice gesture. Do note they only have 3 chargers so please remove your car asap after it’s full so others can have a turn. P.S this station is attached to the Blue Heron cruise booking cabin so it’s quite convenient if you booked the cruise with them.

Great that there's a destination charger here. Super close to all of the businesses, very easy to charge for an hour while grabbing dinner or a snack plus this gives you free parking (as long as you're charging!). 2 Tesla charges and one standard EV charger. I got 52km/h charge rate on my SR+ @ 32A. Very great, csn give you the top up needed to get to the Owen Sound supercharger. Free to use with a donation box mounted by the chargers, be nice and give them a toonie!
