It cost me 40 bucks to charge my EV6 to 80%...... ridiculous. If we drive our gas car up here it costs that much for the round trip. 69 cents per kilowatt is robbery. I won't be using this charge station again..... lesson learned. Now I know why they are always "available"

Lakeland is extorting costs on unwitting EV drivers. There is no way their electrical costs have increased so substantially to go from charging under 0.30 CAD/kWh to well over double the amount. This is yet another step towards blatant racketeering against EV drivers in Canada due to lack of policy and competition.

Ridiculous pricing. Charge on a different network, these guys are now one of the most expensive networks in Ontario. Used to be a great price at $30/h and now it's $0.69/kWh + tax. The Parry Sound Supercharger is $0.47/kWh including tax.
