Edmonton, AB - Tesla Supercharger

On the second level parkade near post 2D. Tricky to find and I was unable to charge my VW ID.4 here. The Tesla app did not “find” any chargers near Southgate, so not sure if you needed Tesla membership or if this was strictly for Teslas only.

Thank You Tesla engineers for this Supercharger. I came 270 km from Slave Lake in Minus 12 Degrees with a Tesla Model 3 SR and made it with 9% left. I was able to precondition the cabin at the Charger of the Hotel holiday inn in Slave Lake which was important to reach this location. Tesla for the win

We had to drive to Windermere almost 15 minutes away on 4% because this location was closed, even though it said open on google. It was a really scary situation which could’ve been avoided if they updated their closing times.

Seems is the only one tesla supercharge stations in Edmonton city. Sometimes need to wait a bit. Inside southgate mall have a cover, location is great. Another option in Edmonton is level 2 charge in Edmonton Tower, is also good, but not supercharge. Edmonton need more tesla superchargers.

Man this location is odd. Such a big mall with so many easier to access options and they stuck this on the 2nd floor in a corner where no one would care to look. For someone who is not from around here, this is not easy to find and the signage is pretty bad as well. I saw a green EV and Tesla charging sign eventually and followed it only to find out that it only leads to the generic EV chargers. The Tesla chargers are literally the opposite direction of the sign. I had to flag down a security van driving around to point me in the right direction! Definitely could be put in a different location. But now you know. Pics should tell you where it's located!
