EV Rebates in Prince Edward Island (2026)

P.E.I. offers Canada's strongest provincial top-up, for new and used EVs plus charger support.

• The provincial incentive applies to both new and used electric vehicles (program materials have listed $4,000 for BEVs and $2,000 for plug-in hybrids; confirm current amounts with the program).
• Up to $750 toward the purchase and installation of a Level 2 home charger.
• Stacks with the federal EVAP; P.E.I. buyers can combine both.

• Up to $5,000 for a new battery-electric or hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle; up to $2,500 for a plug-in hybrid.
• The final transaction value must be $50,000 or less, except EVs manufactured in Canada, which have no price cap.
• Applies to purchases and leases of 12 months or longer, from February 16, 2026 to March 31, 2031 (subject to available funding).
• The dealership applies the incentive at the point of sale; no paperwork to file yourself.
